SAN CLEMENTE HIGH

Each year many scholarships are made available to ATPA students.  Some scholarships are presented by local organizations like the San Clemente Exchange Club, or large corporations like Toyota, while others are provided by national organizations like the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA).  When the academy is made aware of scholarships, students are notified through announcements in appropriate classes.  The Academy Administrative Coordinator makes copies of the applications and provides assistance to the students who are completing the forms.

 

Many of the scholarships require the student to write an essay.  Some scholarships require a letter of recommendation from a teacher, work supervisor, or a community member.  Other scholarships only require the student to complete the generic SCHS scholarship application.  Whatever the need, the Academy staff stands ready to assist the student in completing the application.

 

Scholarships vary in amount...some in the $50.00 to $100.00 range while others are valued into the thousands of dollars.  Some students in the past have received as much as $20,000.00 in scholarships.  Regardless of the amount, every little bit helps you pay for your education after San Clemente High School.  When Scholarships are announced, don't waste time getting them completed.
